Walk the line around

Place the ratchet on the ground near a tree then walk the loose end of the line around both trees.

Feed the ratchet

Put the loose end of the line through the ratchet and pull out any extra slack.

Raise the line up

Move both ends of the line up the tree to the height of desired play.

Crank the ratchet

Pull out any last bit of slack then crank the ratchet until you can't any more.

Slide on the rim

Slide on the rim using the built in slits, then lock it into place with the velcro straps.
